started digging through the medsci1 report, and things were oddly familiar - and what do you know, he actually isn't running SCP beta2.

so System Shocked, next time, I would suggest actually updating to the latest SCP version before starting to b!tch about stuff not being fixed repeatedly. //might just be mixing old and new reports, which is also a bad idea.

Not wanting to waste any ones time, tell me how someone can tell. I overlaid/replaced the SS2 Beta2 files onto my SS2 Beta1 install.

Sorry rccc. I'm not going to resubmit the same issues that I previously submitted. Re-reporting the same issues is a slap in the face !
Good. Dead and buried then. As it seems, it's probably for the best.

tell me how
delete all your SCP beta1 saves and the entire beta1 modfolder, load fresh, clean beta2, start a new game, and put everything you find into the google doc. you don't have to fill all the fields, just a short description, link to the screenshot, and your name (submitted by). I'll take care of the rest.

You just reported so much stuff which is invalid that it amassed to a big pile of uselessness.
Getting that one missed valid report out of it, is like finding the gold nugget in a dinosaur shit.

So get over it and don't deem other as being at fault, you have been told, and you haven't learned.

@ Olfred,
The highly detailed work that you've contributed towards improving SS2 is invaluable. IT really is. You have a special talent that no-one else in the SS2 community provides. Thank you for addressing the many issues within SS2 that needed fixing.

Besides identifying issues within SS2 that needed your expertise in fixing them, there were other large scale texture issues that needed fixing, towards improving SS2, which fall under the scope of other departments.

Fixing a game of this importance requires many hands.

If your bug reports weren't such torrents of OCD shit the few legitimate issues in them would be more likely to get noticed. You choose to ignore this truth, so deal with it.

Just accept my ongoing full bug report torrent OCD shit report . . . . . it's far better than and more current than you receive now . . . . .

Use the bug tracker.

I just did and it doesn't work. I can't view any previous screenshots ? ? ?

I can't easily view any previous entries . . . what am I doing wrong ?

you open the google doc (basically an excel sheet), scroll down, and add one issue into the first free line. I can imagine how this can not work.

uhh.. check whether your eyes are open? again, it's an excel sheet, you look at it and see things.

Hey, Gawain, I'm liking you're newly wants to fix an established SCP issue reporting system SCHT has been fixed before, so shut the PHUK up.

It seems that you're new to the SS2 improvement game. It may be far more black and white to yourself, than anticipated.

I have no idea what you are saying. I was talking about SS2 stripped levels, not about bug tracking spreadsheet.
And I don't play the game. I'm here just for the entertainment.

SCP Beta 1 FEEDBACK REPORT #18

just noticed this when scrolling through that post - pretty sure I went through all that before beta2 release. do not post reports made while testing beta1 in the beta2 (this) topic, as I've said, the issue must still exist in beta2 for the report to be accepted. reports made while running beta1 will be ignored.

//there is more beta1 stuff mixed in the beta2 reports, suggesting you just threw them there without checking first. example: The raised floor's side textures not aligned with its top http://i.imgur.com/sizO5nE.jpg

I officially do not want to see you b!tching about us needing to clean up our table anymore. not before you clean up yours first.

And again you disregarded anything which was said and just rambled out something completely different.
Only because I do one thing doesn't mean I can't comment on something different.

copied this into the google doc - pretty much a pure beta1 report. System Shocked, please don't talk about wasting time, blood and tears, ever again.

//yep, looks like the next report is more of the same - thank you very, very much for making this about 4 times harder that it should have been (instead of just copying the issue into the doc, I need to check it in both beta2 and beta3 wip).

care to explain why are you reporting issues that were fixed more than one year ago?
You've had a very wide window and plenty of time
to check whether things have been fixed or not.
get a grip already and educate the forums ! You are so dropping the ball !
heed your own advice.

My long-term frustration is that previously repeated issues have been reported and still have not been fixed. The worst fear for any issue reporter is that a legit bug has been reported and not squashed dead.

675111597c161voodoo47

675111597c1b2
that didn't really explain why you are reporting TONS of beta1 issues that have been FIXED by the beta2 release in this (beta2 issues) topic. the linked medsci report is pretty much 90% beta1 stuff, resolved LONG ago.

Can I suggest a standard use of basic game adoptions/designs and a twist or two to improve upon the game designs of 1999.

- Throughout my numerous feedback reports in SS2, SCPB1 and SCPB2, why do floating objects STILL exist at this late stage in the SCP's development? I have continued to report dozens of additional floating objects, several on more than one occasion. At the time, one would think that the prevalent frequency of these issues would attract an important focus and final solution. Surely by now, all of the remaining floating objects have been FINALLY NAILED DOWN ONTO THEIR APPROPRIATE WALLS. Let`s be done with ALL THIS NAGGING SHIT! All of these lingering floating objects should have already been identified and fixed way long before now. Hey SCP Devs, pull up your socks !!! Why are we still fixin` this same s%&t now. Anything that I may have missed, should have been caught and fixed by yourselves, RIGHT!
- The position for ALL door and platform elevator switches should be at the same height and CORRECTLY placed to the RIGHT side of corridors and doors, which is the normal expected position and perspective.
- Raise ALL drop-down corridor and office ceiling lights to their max height so that they don`t distract or interfere with the player`s view or experience. At NO time throughout the entire game does the player need to interact with these lights, so take them out of the view of the player entirely.
- Some corridor and offices have lights, with some illumination. For design consistency, add represented lights to rooms and areas to compliment those that exist within the area.
- Add more cigarette butts sparsed throughout the game and liquor bottles to dead crew members.
- Using the in-ship TRAM shuttle, ADD a new noticeable visual view beyond a window(s) or long tunnel(s), in order to distract the player from focusing on the boring long aspects of the existing visuals. Throw in a dead body on the tracks or a distant defective light and another blinking light. Smoking dead crew bodies on the station tracks good also work.
- If doable, separated crew appendages should have more dedicated and defined blood trails attached to them. Sadly, show their full angst and pain.
- Some Value-Rep machines are deeply clipped into their walls when they don`t need to be. Give those adversely affected a fuller life experience.
- Overall, applicable and appropriate wall signs should be displayed associated with the activities and any possible potential dangers that exist within the immediate area. Remove and or change the inappropriate signage in certain areas and rooms. As an example, a chemical storage room should not have a warning about possible ``laser welding`` hazards.

Maybe ZylonBane was right the whole time and he really suffers from a medical condition.
Some rare and unexplainable sickness where he can write things but can't read anything. (Or at least can't comprehend the meaning of written words.)

At this stage in the SCP`s development, PLEASE reconsider releasing an SCP mid-year graphics-only update, instead of the FULL yearly Halloween SCP release. Provide your long-devouted followers at least with a six-month waffing sniff at the present SCP Beta 3 bottle spout and let them savor more of what the later FULLY improved SCP Beta 3 experience has to offer.

well, that'd be the first time.

anyway, lets reply to the last few rants, in a hope that we won't have to do it again in the future;
dozens of additional floating objects
yes, quite sure pretty much all floating objects are fixed now. if you know of some exceptions, well, you know where the google doc is. but do make sure that the problem still exists in beta2 before you submit, would you kindly.

- The position for ALL door and platform elevator switches should be at the same yadda yadda cigarette butts should be everywhere blah blah add more signs because whatever
no, everything doesn't necessarily have to be aligned with everything, and things don't have to be the same everywhere. unless it's an obvious anomaly (like mattress texture used on a computer console), it's not going to be fixed, end of story. same goes for scattering random junk wherever - there needs to be a very, very good reason for doing such a thing. you thinking that we should, is not such a reason.

as for the Halloween releases, beta3 may be released earlier - maybe. you know what would speed things up? a certain very active tester submitting proper reports that would not take long painful hours to sort out. you are your worst enemy.

1. I`ve thrown many floating objects at you SCP Devs on multiple occasions, some supposedly fixed, that never were. If I see any in SCP-Beta3, you`ll be the first to know. For all that I`ve searched and studied, there better not be any more!!!
2. Concerning wall switches, at least position them at the same height when they exist in a lower level and an upper level. This is when it`s most obvious.
3. I`m so very hopeful that SCP Beta 3 might be released sooner than Halloween 2016. Sadly, some issues that should have been included and fixed in SCP-Beta1 and SCP-Beta2 weren`t. I hope that all the remaining reported issues have been addressed within the upcoming early release of SCP Beta 3. If so. it`ll be a welcomed monumental update to SS2.

1. feel free.
2. that actually is happening.
3. check the google doc, and you will know exactly what is going to be fixed. if you want something fixed, add it there.
