How in the world have I possibly missed this FM? It's top notch. Some of the voice acting is bit meh and the quality is not that great either (breathes into microphone, low volume etc etc) but apart from that I'm having a blast. :)

yeah, voice acting is always the weak spot of SS2 FMs - you need to have both equipment and good voice actors to make it sound at least half decent, and you can only rarely get both if you have a zero budget. the level design is top notch though (so good that it actually inspired some SCP fixes).

Well there is a button to close the elevator door, and nothing else.

The button to close/open the elevator door is outside the elevetor, like on this screenshot: http://www.southquarter.com/christine/SystemSM016.html

Open the door and go in the elevator, and look for a smaller button inside to activate the elevator.

Hi Christine. Love your FM's. :)

HI Christine, yes i have the exact same problem. i thought maybe it was a gameplay thing to keep me on engineering deck. i went to engineering first thing after completing medsci. I enter the elevator to go to deck 5 to grab the reactor control access key but there is no small button to get me up to level 5! oh man i dont want to restart this has been an awesome couple of hours but to restart now would be devastating!  :(

fixed. can you share a save? will have a look at it, maybe it's just some weird thing like the button being invisible for whatever reason.

yeah, I know what is going on here - the rebith position fix dmls (included in the modpack) are being applied where they shouldn't. what FM loader are you using?
Re: SS2 Christine FM1: Ponterbee Station V3

i'm using the one that came packed in with shock 2 steam release  - FMsel v1.1.1
Re: SS2 Christine FM1: Ponterbee Station V3

also just loaded up a save without the graphics mods (removed the contents in DataPermMods folder) - still no elevator button.

attaching a fixed save. this is happening because some object position fixes from the modpack that were meant to be used for the original missions are being applied to the fan missions. the only thing you can do is search for files with a dml extension inside the modpack, delete them all, and hope for the best - as those Ponterbee maps that you have visited already have the fixes permanently applied (that's why removing the modpack had no effect).

anyone playing this FM should make sure there are no dml fixes inside his mod or modpack folders BEFORE starting a new game.

if you are referring to the destroyed shuttle, then that is how a destroyed shuttle looks like.

With black stripes sticking out of the windshield? Okay.

Re: SS2 Christine FM1: Ponterbee Station V3

as we have no idea how shuttles are (or rather, will be) constructed, we also have no idea how one would look when destroyed by an explosion, and cannot determine which parts would end up sticking out of it. no right or wrong here.

My elevator button in Engineering is gone, just like some other posted here a while back.
Here's my save.

The disappearing elevator button is caused by running Ponterbee in tandem with other mods that have .dml files in them. If you disable all mods with dml files, it should reappear for you. I think that whoever had that problem had to restart the game, but I might be misremembering. It should be covered up thread.
