Well that explains why both System Shock games play music all the time.

Please elaborate. Can you say to me that your experience regarding sound on the Maintenance level in SS1 compared to the Science level from which you came from, was any different? It's the perfect example of music Vs. ambience. Did the sound of the level change your mood at least a little bit the first time you played it?
