Dayam. Talk about overreactions.chuckles n chestnuts: When was Voodoo using your FM as an example of bad FM design? I've seen it used as an example of a FM that could use a little more work (I've said as much of it myself), but that is only because we liked what we saw but at the same time could see where it needs some improvement/additional bits added to turn a 6 into a 8. I fail to see the negative there. We all only want to see this good thing you made, be improved into something far better. Compare the Floppy version of System Shock 1 to the CD version. Which was better? Very similar thing here. Also, holding unto those negative feelings of being wronged will do you no good in the long run. Always try and look at things from other peoples shoes. Especially if this is something you want to do more of in the future. Feedback, both positive and negatives comes with it. Does not matter if it's your first released work or not. Always comes with it.As hard as it can be, cutting off your emotions and just logically looking at any criticisms or feedback is essential to becoming a better level/game designer in the future. If it causes you to have a huge meltdown that your still fuming about a month or more later, that's not a good habit to get in. Let it go and move on + get those changes into your FM or work on more. The fact that your still now, bringing up comments said months ago is never a good thing. Let it go. All that time spent sitting there typing those posts could have been better used in dromed.
"Hey guys here's my work I'm going to make publicly available but explain absolutely nothing about it, and then lose my shit when someone inevitably asks me two very reasonable questions about what it actually is!"
Everyone had that one friend or acquaintance at some point in their life where you couldn't ever believe a damn word they said due to frequent lies or twisting of the truth. Better to distance yourself immediately.
