When I ran the tool, over my existing SS2 install, the option screen only displayed the "PERFECT MODE" install option, already preselected. The "UPDATE MODE" install option was not visible. In running the "PERFECT MODE" install option, I sadly discovered that all of my screenshot folders had been deleted.   :P .  If this is standard procedure, you may want to consider adding an option for the tool to not delete any existing screenshot folder(s).

For future reference, would any existing screenshot folders be affected when using the "UPDATE MODE" install option?

When running the tool subsequent times, both install mode options appear with either one being selectable.

EDIT : Never mind. Found a variety of files manipulated by the SS2 Tool in the "SS2ToolSyncBackup" folder, including all of my screenshot folders. Nice safety net.  :thumb:

all working as intended - though the screenshots folder could be added to the exclude list, I suppose.

On the first run Perfect Mode is enforced for good reason. On any consequent run you get to choose between that and Update Mode.

If you keep your screenshots in the default folder "screenshots" SS2Tool ignores it.

It's only right and natural that someone gets injured by the saw mysteriously inside the house for no reason.
