Removing certain sounds from SCP?

Maybe you should explain why Irrational would intentionally make one or two objects out of dozens have obviously wrong sounds. I can't wait to hear your theory. Perfect opportunity to prove you're (not) crazy!

they also made the chips sink in water (another thing SCP corrects). also intentional, right? again, IG were/are talented people, but they were in a hurry, and made a lot of mistakes - remember, in the end, they are all human.

@Goodshot: The makers of SCP want a pure mod, and do hell of a good job. Every change in SCP is made with the intention of the devs in mind. When they cannot agree on a change or they feel it is out of scope of SCP they release it as an optional additional minimod (e.g. RealSG or Statis Trap).
Let me quote from the mods topic:

SCP is an unofficial patch for System Shock 2 that delivers an authentic and highly polished gameplay experience, hopefully approximating the form SS2 would have taken if Irrational had had a few more months to work on it before release. It is not a total conversion, a source port, a reimagining, or a remake. It is not SS2 for experts, nor is it SS2 for newbies. It’s just SS2, but better.

Ok. Maybe I have to make a tactical retreatment :p

Hope that I didn't uppset you all. I think that I will next play some FM trough (I have not decited yet, but yesterday I  just finished 1.08 pached RttUNN) and then I will start new game with SCP activated.
By the way one of my faforite mods is Zygoptera Randomiser, hope that one day it will randomize more (the last levels) even if just key cards and some gun positions..

Yes I have learned.. I am not totally against your mod as you can see.

I have even  some nice things for next FM on my mind like traps/or scenes, hope that someone will still listen (even if I am tagged to be crazy here) to me.
I have been played with maintenance chaft character on my mind, he is little psycho (ofcource)..

So let me explain my toughts: This is just a side character on a (FM).  Feel free to use my idea (if you make your FM multiplayer possible)
He is cleaning or maintenancing air vents so
Our player learns of this guy by logs:
Dining hall is the place where this guy has stolen food and ammo from soldiers (there could be some logs of missing stuff; " I am sure that I left my gun on...")
Accidentally our player finds  logs of concerned people (female) like; " Last evening when I was on shower and I felt that someone was looking me trough air wents, Nobody listens to me! Can you belive it? I run out of my room and finally when I wound a technician and asked  this guy named ****  about it  he just said that

everything is sure OK.  OK?  What is wrong on this ship and its workees??" And so on..

So when the ship was constructed this sneaky maintenance guy paid for workers some nanites and them hided an entirely room for him on maintenance shafts (this is what player can find if he is crawls and is smart enough).  This is his hiding place. He hides from angry boss and over works ofcource (this can be found on logs, Imagine a log where his fat boss is angry and tryes to find him).
If you make this further you can make this guy have  an crush (real obsession) of some female character, that he was stalking. He could even kidnap this poor girl and hide her on his secret room ( and player could find her dead tight up with ropes or just an angry log of hers when she get out of her ropes and she escapes ).

This maintenance guy could also have accidentally found some cables wich he uses to temporately at sabotage the ships systems  (like take off lights of entirely deck or section or something bigger).. He really likes when he see other peoples running and  then he gets credits  of fixing the problem (he would blame "rats eating cables "or something of course)! Or in some case our player have to connect the cables to get lights or something back..

Lets think further.. What if this asshole guy is the reason, why the UNN ship stops movement  and scientist are so bored that they  go exploring near suspcious asteroid and.. You all know what happens next  :O
Becouse of language barrier this is hard to explain, but maybe youget my IDEA  or something..

There are some more  things that are unused on games (as seen as on movies for sure) like cannibalism, when people gets stuck on a space ship a long time.. Maybe those should consider to use on a specific FMs...

And you are going to build your own FM around that? Sounds like it could be a pervert/voyeur mod for Alien: Isolation. But it doesn't sound like you're going to find a team to build this huge mod just for a ventcrawler-janitorninja-pervert lovestory.
