Here are some funny pics taken on my friends laptop, this sometimes, albeit rarely, happens when you enter some rooms (like, the one with the force field on MedSci Crew). Hitting ESC twice restores normal graphics. He has an Intel 945 (I think) Express chipset on board.

My friend took these pictures, he said it was in game mode of ShockEd

Take note how the rapier lights the door on the other part of the room - this happens always no matter the distance. (Again) my friend toyed with ShockEd altering medsci1.mis and took this picture, but I can't replicate the effect, how is this done, or better yet, how to turn it back to normal?

What exactly is the question or point of this?

Well, the first pictures related question is has anyone encountered anything similiar (or knows how to fix it)?

Second pictures, I have no idea how he was able to do this (I guess by deleting crfs), but it doesn't really matter

Third set of pictures, this I want to know, how to rectify the laser rapier glow so that it illuminates objects, but only within it's normal glow range, so same as terrain.
