I seem to have forgotten what is needed to get sound to work properly in a ShockEd world. If i for instance create a box wherein i spawn, no sound is produced at all.. Even if i add the "ambient snd" object and add a schema name and a volume, no sound is produced still.

However from what i can remember, this is caused because i have not added any room brushes. So if i select my box that i spawn in, and press shift + insert, a room brush is created. I then go to Tools -> Build Rooms, and now if i go ingame, the "ambient snd" object can be heard.. But still no footsteps. What have i forgotten?

Apparently this is because a level needs a level start marker which links to the player. SOLVED and can be deleted

Sorry, but people actually have decent connections now a days so i really didn't figure it would be a problem :P

yeah, but no reason to clog the pipes if we don't have to - and for regular screenshots, jpgs are more than sufficient.

I guess that if this ship has bullets that can kill ideas then its worth 4.4 billion, but otherwise its a waste of cash.
