as far as I can tell, the latest package is ready for production.

if you want to be the owner of the mod post, you should probably register so you would be able to edit the post later (fusion cannon with hands visible maybe?), if not, I'll repack and post it - let me know what the final name of the mod is.

I've already tried to upgrade the fusion cannon, but blender can't export it. I don't know why...

A future update might be useful, you never know, but forgive my ignorance: how to register? Just clicking "new topic"?

there should be a "Login" tab in the upper left corner of the screen, when you click it, it will expand and offer you the option to register.

also, just noticed that the lighting/shading on the hand is not great sometimes (like a sharp edge going along the arm), maybe you could have one more look.

was just checking, yeah, good stuff. one last thing - the grenade launcher hand seems to have some sort of crack, you can see a bit of that green screen from the background through it (also some black bit right under it, both are in the red circle).

ok, it's up - made a few tweaks:

-each weapon available as a separate download
-readded the missing textures so there is no dependence on the full Tacticool package
-removed the improperly formatted color textures, as they may crash the game, and are not needed anyway (already available in vanilla resources)
-edited the grenlauncher model to use green instead of green01 to avoid crashes
-removed some redundant text in the post to avoid confusion

Speaking of which, "SHTUP-ND_beta1 and SCP_beta3 are recommended." needs to go too. They have nothing to do with this mod.

well, SCP is required to see the AR and the shotty in their full vhotted glory, but feel free to remove the line if you see it as inappropriate (the recommendation was part of the original post, just to be clear).

I did the same thing in the xmas mod's description, as SCP is needed to see all the candy effects.

Should be clarified then. As currently phrased, it's not clear whether he means SCP/SHTUP actually improve the mod, or that he just likes them.

ok, edited (SCP adds the shotgun muzzle flash, and SHTUP-ND makes it hires, so yeah, both are recommended for purely technical reasons, not just because they are you know, generally awesome).

I've seen many videos about system shock 2 on youtube with Alien Pulse Rifle. I wanted to try do it myself too, just for practice (with original sound!).
ps. this weapon replace the assault rifle... of course.

note about the assault rifle - for some reason, this particular model feels a bit off, if you take a good look, it's like either the gun is very short, or the hand is very long (the palm goes pretty much from the clip to more than the middle of the barrel). for a possible future update, adjusting this would be recommended.

also, for further development, using the dev topic at Engineering would be more practical - I'll split and merge in a moment.
