Kaito's SS2 run finished up last night in a marathon 5-hour session that got him from Recreation all the way to the end; the archived stream should be available from his Twitch channel as of right now.

I watched but did not participate. Kaito spent a good chunk of the second half of the session blaming the game for the shitty way he was playing it. The combination of his terrible resource economy, complete lack of any measure of caution, and skill point choices meant that he died dozens of times over the course of the evening, entered the BOTM with basically nothing as far as ammo or hypos, and he was unable to hack the shield terminals of the final boss. He had to spawn in bullets and ICE-Picks to complete the game. His review: "Horseshit".

It was an appalling endcap to his run, and unless you're a fan of schadenfreude, don't bother watching the last video. I could scarcely believe the level of bitterness he leveled at the game for not catering to his completely inappropriate playstyle, and you may come away from the end of the session as pissed off as I was when I witnessed it live.

What a shame.
